Cadence Weapon is rapper, producer, DJ and writer Rollie Pemberton. His albums Breaking Kayfabe and Hope In Dirt City were both shortlist nominees for the Polaris Music Prize. He served as Edmonton’s Poet Laureate from 2009 to 2011. He’s toured the world playing festivals such as Glastonbury, Roskilde, Primavera Sound and Lollapalooza and he’s shared the stage with artists such as Public Enemy, De La Soul, Questlove, Diplo and Mos Def. Cadence Weapon hosts a monthly radio show on TRP called Allsorts where he plays a cutting edge selection of dancehall, grime, trap and R&B.
