SXSW 2012

Four gentlemen from Barcelona who met at the university, where they studied cinema, and came to the brilliant idea to form a band. We don't know if they would have been geniuses in the science of cinema, we do know that their decision to become Mujeres paid of. The band is known for a mix of punk, garage, rock & roll and maybe even some blues and rockabilly. It is fast, exhilarating and fun. Within a year after releasing their self titled debut they had a full touring schedule. Not just in the little bars in Barcelona where they started their career, but all over the world. Mujeres even conquered the U.S. with their magnificent show. You don't even have to know the songs to sing and jump along. Mujeres is pure fun, for band and audience. At The SXSW they will present their brand new album 'Soft Gems' (Sones, 2012)
