The Wedding Present has had eighteen UK Top 40 hit singles… not bad for a band that has, from its inception, stubbornly refused to play the record industry’s game. Formed in 1985 by David Gedge, they have been recording and touring the world ever since, working with such luminaries as Steve Albini, Steve Fisk, Ian Broudie, John Peel, Jimmy Miller, and Andrew Scheps. They return in 2012 with their much anticipated eighth studio album, recorded at the legendary Black Box Studio in France. For this very special set, The Wedding Present will be performing their 1991 Steve Albini-produced masterpiece 'Seamonsters' in it's entirety.
